Introduction

For the purposes of my business as a hypnotherapist I keep personal data.

Types of Personal Data Held

I keep names of clients along with contact details such as phone numbers and email addresses for purposes of providing my services and for administration purposes.  I keep emails from clients on my laptop which is password protected.

I make notes of consultations and these are held electronically on an external drive that is off-line other than for purposes of logging or reviewing details in order to deliver my services.

Use of Personal Data

I will use your personal data solely for the purposes of providing my services to you and for administration purposes.

Confidentiality

I will not disclose consultation notes or personal data to other parties unless lawfully required to do so by legal authorities.  As a member of the British Society for Clinical Hypnosis, I am governed by their ethical rules.

Requests for Copies of Information Held

You are entitled to see and ask for a copy of my files relating to services provided to you.

Marketing

I will not use your personal data for marketing purposes unless you give me your specific consent to do so.  I will not make your personal data available to anyone else for marketing purposes.
